CHRISTOPH STRAUBE

The object-like effect of these pieces is based on their simple geometric shapes in relation to surface and colour, as well as their materiality. The reinterpretation of classical enamel painting creates an apparent three-dimensionality through shading and colour application.

The objects exist in an illusionary space that is all the more perceptible when worn, but only exists in the viewer's imagination.
