The rough and the smooth
Order and chance
The unforeseen
The Ossa Sepia moulding technique has been used in workshops for centuries. In this technique, the back shell of the cuttlefish Sepia Officinales is used as a mould shell. The shell burns as the metal is poured into the mould, leaving characteristic organic surface textures.
The organic, tactile feel of the surface enhances the vibrancy of the work.
