Christine Köppel – Playing with colours and forms
Christine Köppel presents her large collection in our gallery, with her main focus on earrings. The materials are precious: gold, diamonds, red coral, deep black jet, fine pearls and gemstones in bright colours. Despite ancient craftsmanship techniques such as granulation and beadwork, modern pieces of great formal clarity are created. The pieces have quite poetic names such as coral caviar, pinwheel or granule balls. The upper and lower parts are interchangeable and offer plenty of scope for your own variations. We are particularly impressed by the subtlety of the colors and the play with the many individual combinations.
